Mr. C Karunakar Shetty was Born on 29th June 1952 at Chantaru, Udupi district. He Completed his B.com at Gadag, And Holds a Post Graduation Degree in Commerce from Karnataka University. A Certified Associate member of Indian Institute of Banking (C.A. IIB). He was appointed by Vijaya Bank and started his tenure at Gadag.
Having Immense Knowledge in the Field, he has Written Various Guides and Textbooks for B.com students. He has over 20 years of experience in the Banking Industry and has served at various places throughout his tenure with the bank.
After his Stint at the Foreign Exchange Department in the bank, he quit banking to start Bhagavathi Chits Pvt Ltd in 1996. In the year 1999 Bhagavathi Stocks, a Broking Company was started under the same Leadership. He is one of the director to TPS cold chain.

Bhagavathi Chit Funds is engaged in the business of Chit Funds since 1997, established by an Ex-Banker Mr. C Karunakara Shetty, who is having rich experience in financial field such as retail lending, equities and various investment tools.
Ms. Sushmitha Shetty is the second generation management of the company, she has a decade long experience in the field of finance.
We are a 25 year old chit fund company. We are located in Basaweshwara nagar and have a branch at udupi, and we will be expanding more.
Our total business at present stands at nearly Rs. 7 cr per month
We are at present catering to above 1000 customers spreading throughout Karnataka and Maharashtra Bhagavathi chits enjoys a patronage of customers from various fields such as industrialists, hospitality Sector, builders, fishing industry, professionals, government employees and many more.
We run Government Approved Chits, wherein all our chits are Registered with the Registrar of Co-Operative Societies.
All our chits are conducted in accordance with the Government of Karnataka Chit Fund Act 1982.
We conduct Ethical Business and have Strict Documentation and Securitization rules.
